The short answer
CHS is compact and fast inside. The $13 Economy Lot runs shuttles about every five minutes, so the main planning risk is tourist and event traffic getting to the airport.

Don’t stand at the wrong curb
Uber and other ground transportation are outside baggage claim at the west end of the terminal; follow the marked ride-app zone.
Rental-car counters are in the Rental Car Pavilion near baggage claim, with vehicles in the adjacent garage/lot.
CHS has one terminal with Concourses A and B connected after the central checkpoint; walking is the normal transfer method.

The free 80-space waiting lot is on the right side of International Boulevard before the terminal; drivers must remain with their vehicles.
